Stingrays Loved Egyptian Day! 

 

What a fantastic start to the term for Stingrays class!  Our Egyptian Day kicked off our new topic 'Awesome Egyptians', and Stingrays class proved themselves to be quite the historians!  We are looking forward to learning all about Egyptian life over the next few weeks.  Check out our incredible costumes!

Stingray's Geography Challenge

 

Stingrays class are loving their Spring term topic 'Floating to France'.  They are very intrigued by maps and atlases and have enjoyed investigating new places.  They worked in teams to complete jigsaws of maps of Europe, using their atlases and maps to guide them.  They were all very pleased with themselves when they completed the challenge!  Great Geography work Stingrays!

Stingrays have really enjoyed their Science topic all about Forces and Magnets.  Here they are investigating magnet strengths and non-contact forces!

What a Fantastic Start for Year 3!

 

The term has already been full of fun and excitement for Year 3.  Octopus, Swordfish, Porpoises and Stingrays have all had a super start to Key Stage 2 and are making their teachers very proud.  They are loving their topic of 'Through the Ages' and are enjoying being historians as they learn all about the Stone Age.  Here are just a few pictures of all the fun we've had so far!
